Shipping and delivery

This is the plain version of what happens after you preorder a Founder Pilot bracelet. When it ships. What it costs. How you get your money back if you change your mind. No small print, because there is nothing here I would rather you missed.

What you are ordering

Sixty hand-built bracelets. The price, plus shipping and any applicable taxes, is shown when preorders open on 20 September 2026 at 12 noon ET.

Before you preorder, the same things I say everywhere else:

• An early prototype, hand-built. Not the final retail edition.
• Not waterproof. Keep it dry.
• Features and reliability are still being tested, and will change.
• Everyone who wears one needs an iPhone.
• Shipping and any taxes are additional.
• 60 in this batch. When they are gone, they are gone.

Where it ships

This batch ships to the United States only. Checkout will not accept a delivery address anywhere else, so please do not preorder expecting delivery outside the US. That is a limit of this first hand-built run, not of the product. Everywhere else comes with the full launch.

When it ships

Your bracelet ships by 25 October 2026. That is about five weeks after preorders open.

I build these by hand, so they leave in waves as they are finished. Some go out earlier than that date. None goes out later.

That is a promise, not an estimate. The US rule that covers mail and online orders treats a stated ship date as a commitment I owe you, and I am treating it the same way.

If I am going to be late

If I am not going to make 25 October 2026, you will hear from me on or before that date. Not after it. The email will tell you the new date and give you a clear choice: wait for it, or cancel and get every cent back.

If that notice does not reach you in time, the choice stops being mine. Your money goes back automatically, within seven working days, to the card or account you paid with. You do not have to ask for it, and I do not get to hand you a credit instead.

Cancelling before it ships

You can cancel any time before your bracelet ships, for any reason, and get a full refund. You do not owe me an explanation. Email me and I will confirm it in writing the same way.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, as money. Never store credit. Never a voucher. Never a discount on something later.

You will not find "all sales final" or "non-refundable" on this page, because a term like that would not hold up against the rule above. Writing it down would only be a way of hoping you did not know that.

Payment

Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to me.

Nothing is charged until preorders open on 20 September 2026 at 12 noon ET. Shipping and any applicable taxes are shown to you before you pay, not after.

If something goes wrong

Email me first. I read every one, and I would much rather fix it myself than have you arguing with a bank about it.

Having said that, you never sign away your right to dispute a charge with your card company. Nothing on this page takes that away from you, and nothing at checkout will ask you to give it up.

If your bracelet arrives damaged, email me before you do anything else and we will sort it out.
