The M'AKOMA bracelet rendered in 3D: beads and core hub on a braided cord.

A 3D anatomy of the bracelet: each matte-black bead carries an engraved gold Adinkra symbol, a small circuit board and a haptic motor; the gold core hub holds the battery, microphone and speaker.

Fine jewelry

The people
you carry.

Worn on the wrist. Felt across the distance.

Six beads.
One quiet channel.

Beyond the circle

It does more than you’d think.

Every bead is a button. Press one, your phone runs a shortcut.

The symbols

Eight symbols.
Each one says something.

Every bead carries an Adinkra symbol from Ghana, and each symbol has a meaning. When you give a bead to someone, you choose the one that says what they are to you.

Questions

When can I get one?

Now. Batch 1 is fully reserved and being built. Batch 2 is open and ships by 30 November. Preorder yours, with a full refund any time before it ships.

How much will it cost?

You see the Batch 2 price on the last step of the preorder, before you pay, with US shipping included. It is fully refundable until it ships.

Do my friends need to buy one too?

No. You buy one bracelet and invite your people to the M’AKOMA app. They can reach you from the app on their phone, and when they get a bracelet of their own, it becomes two-way.

Is it a smartwatch or fitness tracker?

No. M’AKOMA is jewelry first: no screens, no feeds, no step counts, no notifications. Just the few people you choose, with you all the time.
